May is here and we are looking forward to many exciting excursions this month!
Last week many of our residents attended The Dunfield Theatre for the Million Dollar Quartet and Lunch. The music of Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis, Johnny Cash and Carl Perkins was featured! Who doesn’t love a little Rock and Roll?
If the Classical Music is more your scene we also attended The Hamilton Philharmonic Tea & Talk series. Our residents learned about famous composers and the music featured in mainstage concerts. The afternoon at HPO was finished with a sneak peak in the Great Hall, for a behind the scenes viewing of rehearsal for the show that’s playing that weekend.
Music and entertainment excursions always draw a big crowd!
This week we have full bus attending the Dutch Mill Spring Fashion Show and here on site we will be hosting a Mother’s Day Beauty and the Bead presentation for all the fashionistas who live here. Last year our residents loved
this presentation and they are looking forward to it again.
Later on in May we are having a Culinary Experience Excursion to the Korean BBQ and two trips to Niagara Falls. On the 24th of May we are driving down to experience the Niagara Hydrangea Show and on the 31st we will be taking our monthly trip to Casino Niagara!
