What sizes are your suites?
At Pearl & Pine Retirement we have many suite options to suit your needs. We start with 1 bedroom suites, offer 1 bedroom + den, 2 bedroom and even 2 bedroom + den suites. Some suites have outdoor terraces with plenty of space for planter gardening and many suites offer views of the lake or escarpment.

Can I have guests for meals?
Absolutely! We love having your family and friends join in our dining room or our lounge. Reservations can be made with the Maitre d’ to reserve your table. Should you like to cater a meal in the Private Dining Room or reserve the Craft Kitchen to host a party, we offer those options as well. All guest meal prices are listed in your move in package and depending on your desires larger parties can range from $0 up to whatever you would like us to cater, including special linens, etc.
What about my parents increasing care needs as they age?
At Pearl & Pine we believe in an “age in place” model that allows our residents to stay in their suite and not move to an Assisted Living floor as their needs increase, however we still offer all the same services you would find on an Assisted Living floor. We simply bring the care to the resident in their suite of their choice. This allows couples to stay together with varying care needs and keeps things less confusing than moving floors.
Do you have a doctor on site?
We have a wonderful doctor who works as a Primary Care Physician at Pearl & Pine. She is exclusive to us, works in the building taking appointments but is available to us for patient consultation 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We encourage a meet and greet appointment for potential or existing residents who are considering a transfer of care to our doctor.
My Mother is Diabetic. Can you manage her care?
We offer full sliding scale diabetic care at Pearl & Pine and always have sugar free ice cream for those who like something sweet but cannot have sugar!
Do we bring our own furniture?
Yes! You will feel most comfortable bringing your own belongings. Some residents do choose to shop for some new items that fit the space perfectly or find the best items from their house or condo to decorate their new space. In the case of a Seasonal Stay we will furnish the suite for you for three months while you test out the residence, live in the neighbourhood, and stay out of the cold or enjoy the summer months in downtown Burlington! Once the three months are up you can seamlessly move your things in the same day we move out our furnishings.
