At Pearl and Pine Retirement we run a program called, The Living List, and we ask all of our residents what wishes they might have.

Is there something they would like to try?  Someone they would like to meet?  A food they would like to experience?  Anything…..is there anything they would like to do or see?

 

Tom’s wish?  To have a STRONG CUP OF COFFEE in the morning!  A small wish but we wanted to make it just as big a deal as a large wish.

The staff at Starbucks on Brant Street downtown Burlington were eager to helps us make Tom’s wish come true!

One of our amazing drivers, Paul brought Tom and one of his favourite servers Anna Maria to Starbucks.  Tom is always asking Anna Maria to sit with him and have a cup of coffee!  Our Lifestyles Manager Nicole made this all come together!

The Starbucks Management Team arranged for Tom to have his own apron

and name tag for the day!  He was even offered the chance to make his own coffee!

The Starbucks Staff and the Management Team of Pearl and Pine were so happy to share this special wish with Tom!
