Burlington Chamber of Commerce Announces Business Excellence Award Finalists
February 5, 2019

After months of interviews and meetings, the Burlington Chamber of Commerce has announced the finalists for its 2019 Business Excellence Awards.

The Chamber has named 29 local organizations as potential winners of its Business Excellence Awards in a variety of categories. Award nominations are based on overall business excellence and the criteria include leadership, community contributions, entrepreneurship, environment, employee welfare, innovation and market growth.

“The Chamber was faced with some very tough decisions to choose finalists and winners this year” said Keith Hoey, President & CEO of the Burlington Chamber of Commerce. “The calibre of the companies seems to be getting better every year. This is a clear indication of the world-class organizations that carry on business in Burlington and the Chamber of Commerce is pleased to be able to recognize all of these organizations.”

While the list of finalists is now public information, the names of the winners remain a closely guarded secret. The winners will be announced at the Burlington Business Awards Gala set for April 4 at the Burlington Convention Centre.  This not-to-be-missed affair proves to be one of the most anticipated business events of the year.  Tickets are available here.

Also being presented at the Chamber Awards Gala will be BEDC’s Technology and Innovation Award, Tourism Burlington’s Tourism Builder Award, and Mayor Marianne Meed Ward’s Community Service Awards.
